Important Days of April

Important days are an important part of all government exams. If any of you have given exams like SSC CGL, CHSL, or any other one-day government exams you must have witnessed the growing trend of asking important days and themes.

Why is it important to cover the important days of all months?

If you cover this section,  you can be sure of at least two to four marks in the General Awareness section. So considering its importance, you should not neglect this section at any cost but you don't have to bother much. We will help you cover this portion very swiftly. 

Important days of one month will be covered in each post. So it will take around 12 posts to complete this section. We have tried to make it as interactive as possible and have also added bonus information in red. Besides remembering the days, you must also remember themes related to that day of the current year.

Important days of April:

April has a lot of important days and you do not need to remember all of these. 8. Apr. 11- National Safehood Motherhood Day (birth anniversary of Kasturba Gandhi)
9. Apr. 12- International Day of Human Space Flight
10. Apr. 13- Jallianwala Bagh Massacre Day; Siachen Day (On 13 April 1984, Indian Army captured Siachen Glacier)
11. Apr. 14- World Chagas Disease Day
12. Apr. 15- World Art Day
13. Apr. 16- World Voice Day
14. Apr. 18- World Heritage Day (Theme of 2020- 'Shared Culture', 'Shared History' and 'Shared Responsibility')
15. Apr. 19- World Liver Day
16. Apr. 20- UN Chinese Language Day
17. Apr. 21- World Creativity and Innovation Day, National Civil Service Day
18. Apr. 22- Earth Day
19. Apr. 23- World Book and Copyright Day (or World Book Day or International Day of the Book); UN English Language Day; UN Spanish Language Day
20. Apr. 24- National Panchayati Raj Day; International Day of Multilateralism and Peace
